The new 4G Module for Waspmote, allows sensors and M2M devices networks to connect with the cloud through the high speed cellphone network WCDMA, the same way smatphones do.
This makes possible for the sensor nodes to send not only discrete information from the sensor, like temperature or humidity (it can be codified with a single number), moreover complex flows of information like pictures and videos. This new feature allows developers to create new Smart Security apps.
